Openhouse Magazine is a twice yearly publication, that looks to bright, creative people from around the world, that open their doors of their private spaces to the public, to make different activities about gastronomy, art and design.

Printed in San Sebastian, Openhouse is a magazine of 144 pages, filled with beautiful photography, interesting interviews of people who open special places around the world that the reader can visit and join in with the activities.

Openhouse is also a guide to their secret loved places in their towns, and some favourite recipes. Openhouse is a multi lingual publication; all articles are published in English and the language of the interviewee.

In this issue:
In Openhouse Issue 2 we talk to Jermome Waag, head chef at Chez Panisse, about what he likes to cook at home for his friends in his time off. In Barcelona we take a look at the warehouse space, Espacio 88, that holds an architecture studio, a coffee van in the mornings, and many different pop-ups. We take a peek into the Freunde von Freunden Apartment in Berlin, that takes shape as an office, event space and a cosy apartment for occasional overnight guests. In a small village in the italian countryside, Attillio and Paola live in the old Cinema Flora, and regularly open their doors for film nights. Then we immerse ourselves in the delights of Fez, and Tara Steven’s courtyard cooking school, Dar Namir. Fem Güçlütürk, opens the doors to her home in Istanbul which is also a plant shop and laboratory, Labofem. Back in Barcelona we discover a self made home school for Oihan and his friends. Amaryllis Jacobs has made her wonderful home in Brussels into a twice yearly gallery space, Maniera, for architect designed pieces. And to finish, we fly across the pond to visit the beautiful Glass House, the home of the architect, Philip Johnson.
