Sidetracked is a printed and online journal featuring a limited collection of personal stories of travel, journeys and expeditions. The concept is simple: to capture the emotion and experience of adventures and expeditions throughout the world… and to inspire.

Jody MacDonald travels on the Longest Train across a landscape scarred by poverty and slavery, with dreams of adventure in her heart, Mayan Smith-Goat and Ines Papert attempt to free climb the Central Tower in Torres del Paine, and Ryan Salm paddles the Ganges, immersing himself not only in its ancient and potentially harmful waters, but in the magical culture.

We feature running in Papua New Guinea, surfing in the North Sea, climbing and skiing a remote northern volcano, and sailing in Greenland. We go from the top of the world to the depths of the ocean to share these truly adventurous dreams.
