Normally used for green tea leaves the wooden tea jars of old Japan were a stable item in the old temple kitchens. Our redesigned version blends the traditional jar shape with a Danish 1950s tradition for wood turning and bird motifs.
Use it in the kitchen or living room – perfect for coffee beans, pasta, cutlery or plain decoration.
Carved in stained wood from the sustainable Princess Tee / 桐 (Kiri in Japanese) and engraved with eyes and logo on the bottom. Each jar is handmade with little imperfections and variations, just like our hand-made ceramics.
