These notecards feature 16 engaging and utterly striking photos from National Geographic photographer Vincent J. Musi’s book The Year of the Dogs. The individuality and special spirit of each dog subject shines through in every portrait.
Musi was used to photographing bears, elephants, tigers, lions, sheep, and pigs, but dared to try something different: dogs. In his studio, he captured their beauty, spirit, and personality using the same lighting and photographic techniques that he applied to his other animal work. The results are exquisite—arresting close-ups that dignify each dog with grace and humor.
• Box contains 16 notecards (16 unique portraits) and 16 envelopes
• A great gift or self-purchase for animal or dog lovers, and those who appreciate gorgeous photography or enjoy the art of correspondence
